Day 2: Ha Noi - Thai Nguyen - Ba Be National Park (240km/6hrs) (Meals : B/L/D) Jour 2: Ha Noi - Thai Nguyen - Parc national de Ba Be (240km/6hrs) (Repas: B / L / D)
7:30am - Start for a drive through the Red River Delta north along Hwy 3 to Thai Nguyen. 7h30 - Départ pour une voiture dans le delta du fleuve Rouge au nord le long de l'autoroute 3 à Thai Nguyen. Of interest here is the Museum of the Cultures of Viet Nam's Ethnic Groups. Intéressant ici, c'est le Musée des Cultures du Viet Nam, les groupes ethniques. Leaving the delta behind, you'll start climbing into the mountainous area of Ba Be National Park. Départ derrière le delta, vous pourrez commencer à l'escalade dans la région montagneuse du Parc National de Ba Be. Take a short boat trip (30 minutes) to a Tay village for dinner and home stay in a local house. AM: Pick up at your hotel or Sunshine Travel at 7.45 - 8.15AM. Have short break in Hai Duong city (30 minutes). Arrive Halong City. Boat trip cruising Ha Long Bay (4-5 hours), visiting Thien Cung and Dau Go caves (or Sung Sot cave). (L) PM: Enjoy lunch on boat. Continue boat trip to enjoy the scenery of Ha Long with verious islands, take photos, do snorkeling, swimming... Then boat back to the wharf, get on the bus to return to Hanoi. Arrive at 7.00PM. |

Halong Bay is made up of 1,969 islands of various sizes, 989 of which have been given names. There are two kinds of islands, limestone and schist, which are concentrated in two main zones: the southeast (belonging to Bai Tu Long Bay), and the southwest (belonging to Halong Bay). This densely concentrated zone of stone islands, world famous for its spectacular scenery of grottoes and caves, forms the central zone of Halong Bay, which has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
